Gotcha Covered and its franchisees are proud to announce their participation in a fundraiser during October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
8 MILLION Hours of Research Has Been Funded by the BCRF Since 1993
Gotcha Covered will donate a percentage of sales in the month of October to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF at www.bcrfcure.org). The BCRF is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. They provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship. This well-established and well-respected organization has an A+ rating with Charity Watch, and a four out of four star rating with Charity Navigator.
Raise Awareness, Share Stories and Photos, Provide Support
The pink ribbon has been added to the Gotcha Covered logo and will appear on all websites throughout the month. A special message on our network of websites promoting our fundraising commitment will also appear. Frequent Facebook postings encouraging story-telling by survivors (nearly 3 million in the U.S. alone), family members of survivors, and others that have lost loved-ones to this horrible disease will go on throughout the month. Posting photos from the races and walking events that go on world-wide will add interest to keep our Facebook followers coming back to the sites. We are also encouraging followers to donate directly to the BCRF.
At the end of the campaign, the corporate office and participating franchisees will donate a portion of their October sales to the BCRF. We want to thank all our franchisees in advance for working with us to help the BCRF continue its amazing work that is saving lives and improving outcomes for women and men around the world.
