LET’S TALK

Paul Linenberg - President

Paul has been the President of Gotcha Covered since 2010 following a varied career in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Paul excels at being lucky, especially in being able to work with an amazing group of people at Gotcha Covered, and helping provide custom window treatments for people across the US and Canada.

Paul grew up in the Detroit area and his love of the Red Wings has never waivered. He graduated from Miami (of Ohio) and has had to explain that several hundred times over the years. Paul has been in Colorado since 2000.

Paul plays hockey, practices Krav Maga, and occasionally gets behind his drum set to fill the house with slightly off-tempo but incredibly enthusiastic drum covers. Also a fan of craft beer and not cooking, Paul and his wife, Maggie, base their relationship on those three special little words - "diet starts Monday.”

PEGGY BENSON - VP of Franchise Development

Peggy works with everyone on the Franchise Support team and handles the training with new franchises joining Gotcha Covered. She is here to assist franchises regarding any aspect of the business, and helps with sales, marketing plans, products, vendors and any other question that our owners may have.

Peggy is originally from Pennsylvania, but grew up in Colorado where she graduated from CU Boulder. Having been a former area manager for a shutter company, as well as the owner of her own design consulting business which sold window coverings and flooring, Peggy has been in the shoes of all our business owners.

Peggy loves to attempt golfing, heading to the mountains on weekends, cooking, and meeting up with friends for happy hour.

CHRISTY BOUGIE - Operations Specialist

Christy’s role is to assist with training, provide support to franchise owners, and to work on other special projects and initiatives within the company.

Christy was born and raised in Colorado. Studying at the College of St. Benedict made her realize just how much she loved Colorado! After graduating, she returned to build her career in customer support. She has much experience in converting inquiries to appointments and managing various projects through to completion which is very similar to what our franchise owners do on a regular basis.

Christy loves cheering on her two boys in all their sports and activities. She also loves to golf and ski in her free time. On quiet evenings, she is most likely at home, snuggling up with her two pug dog babies.

KEVIN BRYANT - Franchise Development Manager

Kevin is a Franchise Development Manager for Gotcha Covered. He has 15 years of franchise development experience in his tenured career. He also has the unique perspective of being on both sides [of the equation] since he has also been a franchisee. He has had great success with helping franchises grow and expand their footprint across North America.

Kevin resides in Lexington, KY and is married with 2 children, one a college sophomore at The University of Kentucky and a son who is a junior in High School.

In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, horse racing, [raising his own horses] and cheering on the University of Kentucky athletics.

Blaine Bush - Chief Technology Officer

Blaine is the Chief Technology Officer and lead software developer for Gotcha Covered. His role includes planning and implementing changes and upgrades to Gotcha Linked, our proprietary client and order management system, and keeping up with industry specific technologies.

Blaine has been developing window covering solutions, including blinds and shades designs, product testing and industry specific software for over 30 years.

Blaine is a true renaissance man. He enjoys building, wheeling off-highway vehicles, long distance bicycle riding (he has ridden over 250K miles and counting), paragliding, and he is an amateur machinist.

Hannah Erlenbusch - Franchise Development Representative

Hannah is the Franchise Development Representative for Gotcha Covered. Her role includes managing the development process for potential franchise owners. She is committed to qualifying, educating, and recruiting future entrepreneurs to the Gotcha Covered system.

Originally from Florida, Hannah has been in Colorado since 2014, and enjoys experiencing all that Colorado has to offer with her husband Jack and their dog Lily.

When she is not hiking, reading or spending time with family and friends, you can find her in her kitchen trying out new recipes while 90's One Hit Wonders play on repeat.

Emily Hamilton - Vendor Partner Relations Manager

Emily is the Partner Relations Manager at Gotcha Covered and her role includes communicating daily with vendors, assisting franchise owners, and planning events. For the past six years, Emily has been committed to working closely with Corporate Team Members to help entrepreneurs build and grow profitable businesses.

Emily graduated from Purdue University in 2007 and moved to Denver, CO with her husband soon after. She is a native Chicagoan who frequently travels home to the Midwest to spend time with friends and family.

She is known for her love of dogs, travel, Barre classes, and all things outdoorsy. She also finds writing in the 3rd person like this slightly awkward.

Ivy Hartfield - IT Director

Ivy is the IT Director for Gotcha Covered. She is responsible for supporting all of our franchise owners with technical support and assisting in software development.

A rare Colorado native, Ivy attended the University of Arizona, receiving her B.S. degree in Rehabilitation and Education. She has worked in the IT field for over 20 years.

Two little known facts about Ivy: she is a classically trained pianist and a former member of the National Association of Fashion and Accessory Designers (NAFAD).

Andrew Lucero - Commercial Sales Director

Andrew manages the Commercial Department, and is responsible for the successful completion of commercial projects from the original bid all the way through the installation. His role is to develop and grow our National Account partnerships. He works on commercial sales on behalf of Gotcha Covered Corporate, with our Franchise Owners under the Co-op Program, and works with our national general contractors

Andrew is a Colorado native who has worked in the window treatment industry for over 25 years. He has a background in architectural drafting, construction, window treatment installations, and project management for residential and commercial projects. Along with his experience in the window treatment industry, he has made many connections along the way.

Andrew enjoys spending his free time with his family exploring hiking trails and camping throughout Colorado. His second love is fly fishing with his daughters and closest friends.

Christine Mares - Controller

Christine is the CFO at Gotcha Covered. She has been with the company for 14 years. Her role is to handle all accounting and financial matters for Gotcha Covered. She also helps franchise owners with their accounting.

Christine has over 20 years of experience in accounting. She has a Master’s Degree in Business and Finance. She is a native to Colorado and in her free time, she loves spending time with her two daughters and extended family.

KIM MARTINEC - Product Support Specialist

Kim joins the Gotcha Covered Corporate team as the Product Support Specialist. Her position involves working with all of our owners to answer questions about products and brainstorming ideas and approaches for window treatment solutions.

Kim developed her love for design at a very young age, leading her to a BS degree in Retail Merchandising with an emphasis in business and textiles from the University of Minnesota (Go Golden Gophers!). Her career has covered a wide range of designs in fashion, textiles, draperies, and custom treatments. She has also owned and operated her own business helping clients and interior designers to bring their window treatment designs to life. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, she is passionate about sharing her love for fabrics and window coverings with our franchise owners.

Kim has been a Colorado resident for 18 years now. She is a skier and bike rider wanna-be! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loves reading, bike riding, traveling, cooking, baking, and sharing a glass of wine with friends. Her latest hobby has been to take up quilting!

Mary Sullivan - Marketing Director

Mary is charged with supporting everything Gotcha Covered brand and marketing related, evolving the brand and all its independently owned franchise locations.

Mary brings over 25 years of success in consumer and industrial marketing, from global to regional to local geographies. Her creative and strategic vision has led leading brands to becoming prominent and trustworthy names. She loves fashioning unique campaigns that reflect a brand’s personality and purpose.

With a love of the mountains, skiing, hiking and the outdoors, Mary has made Denver area her home for the past several years. On the weekends, you can find her and Lewis, her rescue pup, combing the trails or relaxing on the patio.

CIERRA TRITZ - Marketing Specialist

Cierra is the Marketing Specialist for Gotcha Covered. Her role includes supporting the marketing team in order to optimize the Gotcha Covered brand and implement strong marketing strategies.

Cierra has a degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Human Services and is working on her MS in Marketing. She has several years of integrated marketing experience and has focused on developing Digital Marketing tactics.

She was born and raised in Colorado. Cierra loves spending time in the mountains with her husband, two kids and her dog. She also enjoys cuddling up on the couch to watch true crime documentaries or reading a good book.
